About the Role

Vidyut Exports is looking for an experienced Technical Purchase Executive to join our Purchase & Procurement team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate should have robust procurement experience along with a good technical understanding of Mechanical or Electrical products and specifications .

Key Responsibilities

- Handle purchase and procurement activities from sourcing to order completion.
- Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers and vendors.
- Understand technical specifications, drawings, product requirements, and related documentation.
- Source materials and products based on technical and commercial requirements.
- Request, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, specifications, availability, delivery, and quality.
- Negotiate commercial terms and ensure competitive procurement.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and current vendors.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchase requirements.
- Track purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Maintain proper purchase documentation and records.





Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in purchase/procurement.
- Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical or Electrical engineering/products .
- Experience in vendor sourcing and vendor management.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and evaluate quotations.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and commonly used business software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement requirements.

Preferred Candidates who can combine technical understanding with commercial negotiation and procurement experience will be preferred.
