Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a robust background in Network Security and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) technologies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing enterprise security transformation projects and driving the successful delivery of network security initiatives across complex IT environments.

This role requires a combination of project management expertise and technical knowledge of modern security architectures, enabling effective collaboration between security, infrastructure, cloud, application, and business teams. The candidate should be capable of leading end-to-end project execution while providing technical guidance on Zero Trust and secure access strategies.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Delivery

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Network Security and ZTNA projects from planning through implementation and operational handover.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network Operations, Application, and Business stakeholders.
- Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Drive governance, change management, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and security objectives.
- Manage vendor engagements, implementation partners, and third-party service providers.
- Facilitate technical and business discussions, workshops, and steering committee meetings.

Technical Leadership
- Lead the deployment and adoption of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions across enterprise environments.
- Work closely with security architects and engineering teams to design secure access architectures based on Zero Trust principles.




- Support migration initiatives from traditional VPN-based access models to modern ZTNA platforms.
- Drive implementation of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and cloud-delivered security solutions.
- Review network security designs and provide recommendations for architecture improvements and risk reduction.
- Coordinate security assessments, gap analysis, remediation planning, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards, policies, and best practices.
- Oversee large-scale infrastructure and security deployments with minimal business disruption.

Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare project plans, RAID logs, status reports, executive dashboards, and governance documentation.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation plans, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
- Present project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills & ExperienceProject Management Experience
- 5–8 years of overall experience with at least 3+ years in Technical Project Management roles.
- Proven experience managing enterprise Network Security, Infrastructure, or Cybersecurity projects.
- Strong experience in project planning, execution, stakeholder management, risk management, and delivery governance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.

Technical Expertise




- Strong understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions and architectures.
- Experience managing projects involving:
- Zero Trust Security Frameworks
- Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
- VPN Modernization and Replacement Programs
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Network Segmentation and Micro-Segmentation
- Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Secure Web Gateways
- Enterprise Network Security Architecture
- Solid understanding of:
- TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, DNS
- Load Balancing and Enterprise Networking
- Network Security Operations
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to engage with technical teams and translate business requirements into security solutions.

Preferred Experience
- Experience managing ZTNA or SASE deployments using:
- Zscaler ZPA
- Palo Alto Prisma Access
- Netskope
- Cisco Secure Access
- Experience integrating security processes with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
- Exposure to ITIL-based service delivery environments.
- Experience in enterprise security transformation or digital workplace modernization programs.

Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile certification.
- Security certifications such as:
- CISSP
- CCSP
- CISM
- CCNP Security
- Zscaler or Palo Alto certifications
