Role Description The Technical Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data and technology programs that support the Centre’s mission. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves coordinating cross-functional teams, defining program scope and milestones, and tracking progress against timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities include translating research and stakeholder needs into technical requirements, aligning multiple projects within broader program goals, and ensuring effective communication among researchers, engineers, product partners, and external collaborators. The role also involves identifying risks and dependencies,



establishing processes and documentation standards, and driving continuous improvement in program management practices to ensure high-quality outcomes and impact.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Program Management and Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate program performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Software Development life cycle practices to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical constraints.
- Candidates should possess Product Management capabilities to translate user and stakeholder needs into clear requirements and prioritize features and outcomes.
- Relevant qualifications include experience managing technical or data-centric programs, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in research, public sector, and industry settings.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, management, or a related field is preferred, along with experience in public-sector, research, or social impact projects.
