Required Skills

1. 8+ years of Product Ownership / Product Management experience in Agile environments with strong backlog ownership and delivery accountability.

2. Strong expertise in API-driven and backend systems (REST APIs, microservices, system integration, data flow understanding)Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical user stories, API specifications, and acceptance criteria. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release planning

3. Robust stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of aligning business, engineering, and leadership teams

4. Technical proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Swagger/Postman, and working knowledge of SQL/data validation

5. Preferred Skills: Technical Product Owner with development expertise in Java/Spring Boot, microservices, cloud, and DevOps. Experienced in platform modernization, API and data integration design, validation, troubleshooting, and delivering solutions in regulated healthcare, payments, and enterprise environments.

6. Primary Responsibilities: Own and drive product vision, roadmap, and backlog for backend/API platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities

7. Translate requirements into detailed user stories, API contracts, and acceptance criteria, working closely with architects and engineering teams

Lead Agile ceremonies and delivery execution, ensuring timely, high-quality releases across multiple teams

9. Ensure end-to-end system integrity, validating APIs, data flows, and integrations before release

10. Act as the bridge between business, engineering, and stakeholders, managing dependencies, risks, and cross-team alignment

11. Prior Experience: Prior development or technical background (Java/Spring Boot, microservices, cloud) to support design discussions and trade-off decisions

12. Experience with enterprise platform modernization (e.g., monolith to microservices transformation)Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (AWS/Azure, CI/CD pipelines)Strong understanding of data models, APIs contracts, and integration patterns across distributed systems

13. Experience working in regulated domains (healthcare, payments, fintech) or multi-stakeholder enterprise environments

14. Ability to perform API validation, data validation, and system-level troubleshooting

15. AI Skills: All contractor resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to: Consistent Use: Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms approved by the enterprise.
