Technical Lead .NET / Backend

Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Lead .NET/Backend who can take end-to-end technical ownership of backend development, guide the development team, and contribute hands-on to architecture, design, development, integration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of scalable backend solutions using C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Define technical approach, architecture, design patterns, and development standards.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, Web APIs and system integrations.
- Design and optimize Oracle, SQL Server databases, queries and stored procedures.
- Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers.
- Analyse complex technical issues and drive resolution.
- Coordinate with QA, DevOps, frontend teams, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in estimation, technical planning, task breakdown, and delivery planning.
- Ensure timely delivery of backend components and technical commitments.
- Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities for performance, scalability,



and code-quality improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and design specifications.

Required Skills

- 5–7 years of experience in .NET/C# development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
- Strong experience in REST API development and system integrations.
- Strong SQL Server and database development experience.
- Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core.
- Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, design patterns and clean architecture.
- Experience with application security, authentication, and authorization.
- Positive understanding of microservices and scalable application design.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD and Agile/Scrum.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
- Ability to mentor developers and conduct effective code reviews.

Good to Have

- Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL and Azure DevOps.
- Docker/Kubernetes.
- Messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
- Redis/caching.
- OAuth2/JWT/Azure AD/Entra ID.
- Experience with GIS, enterprise applications, or integration-heavy projects.
- GIS fundamentals knowledge
