We are looking for an experienced Toll Plaza Operations & Database Lead to manage the technical operations of live toll plaza systems, including database administration, transaction processing, lane systems, production support, failover/DR and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage technical operations of live toll plaza and lane systems, ensuring uptime, availability and transaction continuity.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Handle SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning, blocking, deadlocks and database connectivity issues.
- Manage HA, failover/failback, replication, backup, restore and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities.
- Monitor and troubleshoot FASTag/RFID, ANPR, Lane Application, Lane Controller, Barrier, WIM/AVC and payment systems.
- Investigate missing, duplicate, failed, pending and mismatched toll transactions and maintain data integrity.
- Take ownership of critical production incidents, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with software, network, server, hardware and OEM teams.
- Lead Shift Engineers, Database/IT Support and Field Engineers and coordinate with clients, system integrators and NOC teams.
- Monitor lane availability, database/server health,



transaction processing and SLA compliance.
- Prepare RCA, operational reports and corrective/preventive action plans.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6–12 years of relevant experience in database administration, production support or toll/ITS operations.
- Robust hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Good knowledge of Database HA, Failover, Replication, Backup & DR.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
- Working knowledge of FASTag, RFID, ANPR, ETC, Lane Systems, WIM/AVC and MLFF.
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN and firewall.
- Strong team leadership, client coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Toll Plaza / Highway ITS / Transportation Technology / System Integration / MLFF will be preferred.

Qualification BE/B.Tech / MCA / BCA / B.Sc. IT / Computer Science / Electronics or equivalent relevant experience.
