CURRENT FOCUS-AREAS

DataMTX is currently engaged in the acceleration of multiple AI Software Engineering Transformational projects that is enabling our clients to institutionalize an AI-first software delivery model in-sync with modern product stack. Our current engagements focus on practical adoption of Claude Code and complementary AI capabilities across business analysis, architecture, database engineering, full-stack development, quality engineering, documentation, and DevOps.

Our AI-centric methodologies is intended to reduce avoidable manual effort and sprint friction, not to remove engineering accountability. AI-generated requirements, schemas, code, tests, and documentation will remain subject to defined human review, automated validation, security controls, and repository governance.

The Role

As a Business Analyst at DataMTX, you'll play a key role in shaping product direction by analyzing, documenting, prototyping, and validating software requirements within an AI-first delivery model. You will work closely with Product, UX, Engineering, and QA to translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, Storybook component specifications, and AI-ready development artifacts.

You will leverage up-to-date AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other approved AI technologies to accelerate requirements analysis, impact assessments, test design, documentation, and delivery planning while maintaining robust human accountability and governance.

A key aspect of this role is helping establish a Storybook-driven design-to-code workflow , ensuring UI requirements, states, behaviors, accessibility standards, and component specifications can be efficiently translated into production-ready React components and supporting engineering assets. This aligns directly with the client's Storybook-to-React acceleration strategy.

AI-Enabled Analysis & Product Definition





- Utilize approved AI tools to accelerate requirements gathering, impact analysis, user story creation, acceptance criteria generation, and business process documentation while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Create AI-ready requirements packages that provide sufficient context for engineering teams and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Develop structured prompts, templates, and reusable business analysis artifacts to improve consistency and quality across product delivery.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to define business rules, workflows, edge cases, and non-functional requirements suitable for AI-assisted implementation.

Storybook-Driven Product Delivery
- Define UI requirements through Storybook stories, states, variants, interaction flows, accessibility requirements, and component behaviors.
- Work with Product Designers and Developers to establish traceability between requirements, Storybook assets, React components, automated tests, and acceptance criteria.
- Create detailed component specifications covering empty states, loading states, error states, validation scenarios, responsive behavior, and accessibility considerations.
- Assist in establishing a design-to-code workflow where approved Storybook artifacts can be leveraged to accelerate front-end development.

AI-First SDLC Participation
- Partner with Development and QA teams to create traceable links between user stories, acceptance criteria, implementation tasks, automated tests, and deployment outcomes.
- Support AI-assisted backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT preparation, test scenario generation, and release readiness activities.
- Contribute to AI governance practices by ensuring generated artifacts maintain business accuracy, traceability, compliance, and auditability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to AI adoption, delivery acceleration, and quality metrics.

Technical Collaboration
- Review Storybook specifications, React components, API contracts, and data models sufficiently to validate alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to refine prompts, implementation approaches, and generated outputs during feature delivery.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to validate business outcomes using interactive prototypes, Storybook stories,



and AI-generated mockups where appropriate.

Required Skills and Experience
- Experience defining and documenting software requirements within Agile product development teams.
- Strong understanding of modern web application architecture including APIs, frontend frameworks, and cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Experience working with component-based UI frameworks and design systems.
- Experience using Storybook or similar tools to document and validate UI requirements preferred.
- Experience working with React-based development teams strongly preferred.
- Ability to understand source control concepts, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
- Since this role has direct 1:1 client interaction in Australia and/or the USA, we expect candidates to have the ability to communicate in near-flawless English at both the spoken and written levels.

AI & Modern Delivery Skills
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar technologies to improve analysis and delivery outcomes.
- Ability to create structured prompts and workflows that generate high-quality requirements, test scenarios, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
- Understanding of AI-assisted software development lifecycles and human review responsibilities.
- Experience working within AI-enabled engineering organizations strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with AI governance, validation practices, and responsible use of generative AI tools.

Storybook & Design-to-Code Skills
- Experience documenting UI functionality through component specifications, state definitions, and user interaction flows.
- Ability to define comprehensive Storybook scenarios including:
- Default states
- Loading states
- Empty states
- Error states
- Validation states
- Responsive behavior
- Accessibility considerations
- Experience supporting design-system adoption and component-library governance preferred.
- Understanding of design-to-code workflows and how UI specifications are transformed into production-ready front-end components.

Highly Desirable
- Construction Management, Field Service Management, Claims Management, ERP, or Project Management software experience.
- Experience with Storybook, Figma, React, TypeScript, or component-based front-end architectures.
- Experience working in organizations utilizing AI-assisted SDLC practices.
- Familiarity with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar developer AI platforms.
- Experience creating traceability across requirements, UI components, automated tests, and released functionality.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and UX best practices.
