1. Product Architecture & Development Define the overall technical architecture for new products and product enhancements.

Design scalable, highly available, secure, and maintainable applications.

Convert product requirements and business use cases into technical architecture and implementation plans.

Define application, integration, database, API, event-driven, and microservices architectures.

Establish coding, design, development, and architectural best practices.

Review technical designs, POCs, and implementation approaches proposed by engineering teams.

Identify opportunities for reusability, automation, and development of common product components.

Ensure the product architecture supports scalability, extensibility, configurability, and multi-tenancy.

Drive modernization of existing applications and migration from legacy architectures.

2. AWS Cloud Architecture Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions using AWS services.

Develop cloud architecture covering compute, networking, storage, databases, security, monitoring, and integration.

Strong hands-on experience with services such as:

Amazon EC2, ECS/EKS and Lambda

Amazon S3

Amazon RDS/Aurora

Amazon DynamoDB

API Gateway

CloudFront

Route 53

VPC, Subnets, Security Groups and IAM

CloudWatch and CloudTrail

EventBridge, SQS and SNS

AWS Secrets Manager and KMS

AWS WAF

Design highly available and fault-tolerant AWS architectures across multiple Availability Zones.

Define AWS security and compliance best practices.

Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance and cost.

Drive cloud-native adoption and serverless/event-driven architecture where appropriate.

3. Application & Technology Architecture Provide technical direction across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and integration layers.

Experience with up-to-date technologies such as React/Angular, Node.js, Python/.NET, REST APIs, WebSockets, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Define API standards, authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.

Design solutions integrating third-party platforms, SaaS applications, enterprise systems, and cloud services.

Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools and recommend their adoption based on business and technical value.

4. DevOps & CI/CD Define and promote CI/CD practices for product engineering.

Experience with Git-based development and automated build, test, deployment, and release pipelines.





Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar technologies.

Define deployment strategies such as blue/green, rolling, and canary deployments.

Work with DevOps teams to establish automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.

Implement observability through centralized logging, monitoring, alerting, and application performance monitoring.

5. Security & Compliance Ensure security is incorporated into architecture and development from the design stage.

Define IAM, encryption, network security, secrets management, API security, and data protection standards.

Work with security teams to address cloud security findings and vulnerabilities.

Ensure applications follow secure coding and cloud security best practices.

Support compliance requirements such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, or other applicable standards.

6. Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, technical leads, senior engineers, and development teams.

Conduct architecture reviews and technical design reviews.

Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.

Support engineering teams in resolving complex technical challenges.

Establish and maintain architecture documentation, solution diagrams, standards, and technical guidelines.

Drive technical decisions while balancing scalability, performance, security, cost, and time-to-market.

Role Participate in customer discussions, technical workshops, solutioning sessions, and architecture reviews.

Support Presales teams with solution architecture, technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and effort estimation.

Conduct technical demonstrations and POCs when required.

Evaluate customer requirements and recommend appropriate product and integration architectures.

Provide technical guidance during implementations and complex customer escalations.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or product development.

Robust experience in technical architecture and enterprise application development.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience.

Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed system architecture.





Experience designing and developing scalable SaaS or enterprise products.

Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous processing.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.

Strong programming experience in at least one backend language such as Python, Java, Node.js, or .NET.

Good understanding of modern frontend technologies such as Angular or React.

Experience with Docker and container-based deployments; Kubernetes/EKS experience is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, security, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.

Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, resiliency, and high availability.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent certification.

AWS Certified Developer/DevOps certification is an advantage.

Experience building multi-tenant SaaS products.

Experience with contact-center, CRM, customer experience, analytics, or enterprise integration platforms is preferred.

Experience with real-time systems, WebSockets, messaging, streaming, or event-driven platforms.

Experience integrating platforms such as Genesys, NICE CXone, Amazon Connect, Zendesk, Salesforce, Cisco, or Avaya is an advantage.

Experience with AI/LLM, RAG, vector databases, or AI-enabled enterprise applications is a plus.
