- Define and drive platform architecture across products and engineering teams - Design scalable, highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed systems - Lead architectural decisions for microservices, APIs, databases, messaging, and cloud infrastructure - Build proofs of concept and remain actively involved in code, design reviews, and technical problem-solving - Establish engineering standards, architectural principles, and development best practices - Architect for multi-tenancy, observability, performance optimisation, and operational resilience - Partner with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions - Mentor Lead and Senior Engineers on architecture, technology choices, and system design - Evaluate and drive adoption of emerging technologies including GenAI, LLMs, RAG,



and AI agents The Successful Applicant - 9 to 15 years of software engineering experience with strong architecture ownership - Extensive hands-on backend or full-stack development experience - Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native architectures - Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, caching, messaging, and event-driven systems - Proven experience building secure, highly available, and observable platforms at scale - Ability to balance scalability, reliability, performance, and delivery timelines - Track record of influencing technical direction across multiple engineering teams - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills - Exposure to B2B SaaS, FinTech, transaction-heavy platforms, or multi-tenant systems preferred - Experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, or LLMOps is advantageous - Prior experience in high-growth product organisations or startup environments preferred What's on Offer - A permanent role in the fintech industry.
