Role Expectation:
A hands-on Principal/Technical Architect with strong .NET, microservices, distributed systems and Azure/cloud experience who can own platform architecture while still coding and technically leading multiple engineering teams.
Requirements:
- 10+ years designing and building enterprise-scale software platforms, with platform-level ownership and technical leadership across multiple teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core / ASP.NET; exposure to modern web technologies such as Angular.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native architecture and microservices.
- Strong experience with API design, REST services, integration patterns, asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Good understanding of database design and data modelling for high-volume applications.
- Cloud experience, with Azure preferred,
plus containerisation and contemporary deployment practices.
- Experience building secure, scalable and resilient systems, including modernising existing platforms incrementally rather than relying on major rewrites.
- Experience working with sensitive data in regulated environments. Healthcare experience, particularly HIPAA / PHI, is a strong advantage rather than stated as mandatory.
- Experience building AI-powered features and using AI in day-to-day software engineering.
- Must be comfortable with architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring engineers and influencing multiple engineering teams, rather than simply producing architecture documents.
