Role Description This full-time remote Technical Business Analyst role is responsible for bridging business needs with technical solutions within Taxcart’s global tax engine platform.

The Technical Business

Analyst will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with system capabilities and regulatory needs. Day-to-day tasks include mapping and optimizing business processes, performing systems analysis to identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and translating complex tax and operational requirements into transparent specifications and user stories. The role also involves supporting implementation and integration projects, validating solutions against requirements,



and collaborating with stakeholders to refine features and enhance system performance.

The Technical Business

Analyst will contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure accurate and efficient tax automation for customers.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in business analysis, including eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements.
- Experience mapping and improving business processes to enhance efficiency and alignment with system capabilities.
- Systems analysis skills to evaluate technical solutions, identify integration needs, and assess system impacts.
- Familiarity with tax, finance, or SaaS platforms is beneficial, especially in the context of global tax or ERP integrations.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a fully remote, cross-functional environment with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with requirements management tools, process modeling techniques, and basic understanding of APIs or integrations is a plus.
