Senior Technical Analyst

Role Description

As a Senior Technical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery of robust, high-performing, and scalable solutions. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, technical analysis, design, development oversight, testing, go-live support, and production operations.

You will collaborate closely with domain architects, analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both business and technical requirements, with a strong focus on quality, customer experience, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

- Lead the understanding and clarification of functional and non-functional requirements by reviewing specifications and collaborating with domain architects, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Conduct technical impact analysis and participate in high-level and low-level design activities.
- Participate in estimation, staffing, solutioning, and scope clarification.
- Conduct requirement workshops, identify gaps/issues, and translate business needs into system requirements.

Design & Development Oversight
- Create and review IT designs, pseudocode, and prototypes.
- Guide and review code, documentation, and unit test scripts.
- Ensure high code quality through unit test plans and reviews.
- Lead release implementation following change and release management processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.

Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead and participate in functional, integration, end-to-end, system, performance, automation, and user experience testing.
- Review test scripts, documentation, and automation setups.
- Manage test data, defects, automation strategy, and performance testing strategy.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage.
- Participate in test management, master test plans, and testing strategy documentation.





Go-Live & Production Support
- Support go-live activities as per the implementation plan.
- Analyze production issues, suggest and implement workarounds, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Manage incidents and service requests within agreed timelines.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), process improvements, and effort estimation.
- Track SLAs, verify fixes, and drive continuous improvement.

Knowledge Management & Leadership
- Document and share project learnings and best practices.
- Define and maintain knowledge management practices.
- Train and guide team members on project processes.
- Use knowledge bases and benchmarks to solve problems and develop high-level solutions.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in technical analysis, software development, or related roles.
- Experience in a telecommunications environment is an asset.
- Strong understanding of Telco OSS is highly desirable.
- Practical experience with TM Forum (TMF) standards and APIs is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles.

Technical Skills
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Postman, Swagger, Azure, and OpenShift.
- Robust understanding of the complete SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Experience with unit testing tools such as JUnit, Jasmine, and Karma.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright, RestAssured, and TestNG.
- Experience with integration testing tools such as SOAPUI.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle is a plus.
