Position Overview

We, at ScopeSys Innovation, are seeking an experienced and technically strong Java Lead / Technical

Lead who will be responsible for designing robust enterprise solutions, leading development teams, and driving technical excellence across projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java-based technologies, hands-on architectural experience, and the ability to mentor engineers while delivering scalable, high-performance systems in an Agile environment.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development
- Prior experience leading technical teams or acting as a module / project technical owner
- Strong experience working in Agile / Scrum environment.

Mandatory Required Skills & Experience The successful candidate must demonstrate robust, current hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Core Java (JDK 8 or above) with strong fundamentals, multi-threading, and performance optimization
- Spring Boot, J2EE, JPA / Hibernate, and enterprise application development
- RESTful API design and development, JSON, and service-to-service integrations
- Unit & Integration Testing using JUnit and related frameworks
- Build & CI/CD Tools: Maven, Git, Jenkins
- Database Technologies: JDBC, RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and NoSQL databases such as

Cassandra

- Messaging & Streaming Systems:



Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, or IBM MQ
- Cloud-native development experience, preferably on Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and system architecture
- Experience with scalable, distributed, and low-latency systems

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable Java-based applications and services
- Act as the technical owner for modules or end-to-end solutions
- Define technical architecture, design patterns, and best practices for the team
- Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions
- Mentor and guide developers through technical problem-solving and skill development
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-impact features
- Drive performance optimization, scalability, and security considerations
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical estimations
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements in tools, frameworks, and processes
