About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Solution Architect to join our PLM team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Siemens Teamcenter architecture, configuration, customization, integration, and implementation, along with excellent customer-facing and technical leadership skills.

The role involves translating business requirements into scalable Teamcenter solutions and leading architecture from solution definition through implementation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities





- Design end-to-end Teamcenter solution architecture for enterprise PLM implementations.
- Define Teamcenter data models, workflows, business processes, and integration architecture.
- Lead Teamcenter configuration, customization, development, and integration activities.
- Provide robust hands-on expertise in BMIDE, including Data Model, Naming Rules, Revision Rules, Deep Copy Rules, Action Rules, Packaging, and deployment.
- Design and support Teamcenter multi-site architecture, replication, and data transfer.
- Lead integrations with CAD/ECAD and enterprise applications, including Altium, OrCAD, Capital, SAP/T4S, and Polarion.
- Conduct customer workshops, solution discussions, POCs, technical demonstrations, and presentations.
- Support RFP/RFI and pre-sales activities, including solution architecture, estimates, and technical responses.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Teamcenter architects, developers, and implementation teams.
- Review technical solutions, identify risks, and ensure adherence to Teamcenter best practices.

Must-Have Skills

- 10–20 years of overall experience in PLM / Engineering Technology / IT.
- 7–8+ years of hands-on Siemens Teamcenter experience.




- Proven experience as a Teamcenter Solution Architect / Technical Architect / Lead Architect.
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter Architecture, Data Model, BMIDE, customization, and deployment.
- Experience with multi-site architecture and enterprise integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Naming Rules, Revision Rules, Deep Copy Rules, and Action Rules.
- Experience with T4S / SAP integration.
- Experience with MCAD, ECAD, Document Management, and Requirements Management.
- Strong customer-facing, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading technical teams on large-scale Teamcenter projects.

Good-to-Have

- Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC).
- ITK / SOA / REST API experience.
- CAD integrations such as NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.
- Teamcenter migration, upgrades, and modernization experience.
- T4EA or other Teamcenter integration frameworks.
- Exposure to Digital Thread, MBSE, Systems Engineering, or Digital Twin.
- Experience working with global customers and distributed teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree is an advantage.
