Engineering and Design Responsibilities

- Preparing the BOM as per the design and the renewable energy application. This can entail Solar PV or Solar
- Creating new solar off-grid products, engineering, piloting, budgeting and commercializing them.
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of pumps, energy storage, solar thermal, electrical drives, cables, etc. and solar systems in general.
- Expertise in electrical, electronics, civil and mechanical properties related to Solar
- Optimizing the costs for all recent projects with designing the best system considering lowest long term running costs performance.
- Shortlisting quality vendors while designing the system.

Servicing Responsibilities

- Managing the team to resolve complaints on phone; if not then appointing the relevant person for repairing of pumps attending service calls.
- Managing the team to diagnose breakdown problems.
- Planning for resources for the repairs work with management to arrange the same.
- Creating a base of service contractors for solar pumps and managing them. Execution and Project Management Responsibilities

- Maintaining complicated schedules, develop project timelines, and manage people and materials to complete jobs on schedule time and within budgeted guidelines.
- Creating a base of installation contractors and managing them.

- Keeping track of the contractors for budget, timelines and quality.
- Creating and maintaining liaison and contacts with local utilities and state agencies/officials.
- Having experience of documentation for pumps with government agency, energy agency or any other technical agency.

Managerial Leadership Responsibilities





- Independently manage the performance and productivity of installation sub-contractors and the team.
- Having experience in leadership and managing the team. (Number of executives to manage could be between 2-15 and contractors to manage can be between 1-7).

- He should be willing to travel for 20 days in a month.
- Should have experience of execution of 1000 solar pump preferably in western India.
- Daily reporting on all aspects of project to management.

Qualifications

- Degree in electrical, mechanical or civil engineering. A Masters with emphasis in renewable energy will be strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency using MS Project, Auto CAD, PV Syst, Microsoft Applications, and relevant solar engineering software.
- Fluency in both Hindi and English a must.
- UG: B.Tech/B.E. Civil, Electrical, Mechanical
