We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Team Leader – Software Platform Development to lead and manage software platform engineering teams working on cutting-edge embedded software solutions for automotive systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across Open CVE, MICOM, BSP, Linux Middleware, Android Middleware, and Embedded Software Platforms, coupled with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery capabilities.

The role requires driving end-to-end software development activities, mentoring technical teams, ensuring timely project execution, and supporting organizational objectives through effective planning, reporting, and governance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.

Experience

- 15–20 years of experience in Embedded Software Development and Platform Engineering.
- Proven experience leading medium to large engineering teams.
- Strong automotive software platform development background.
- Experience managing customer-facing projects and global stakeholders.
- Track record of successfully delivering complex software programs.

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Lead the development and integration of software platform components across Open CVE, MICOM, BSP, Linux Middleware, and Android Middleware domains.
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Review system requirements, software designs, code quality, and technical deliverables.
- Drive platform optimization, performance improvements, and software quality initiatives.
- Support issue resolution, root cause analysis, and technical escalations.

Project & Delivery Management

- Plan, monitor, and drive project execution to ensure milestone adherence and timely delivery.
- Manage project schedules, effort estimations, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Track project KPIs and ensure alignment with business and customer expectations.
- Facilitate regular project reviews, status reporting, and progress tracking.
- Ensure compliance with development processes, quality standards, and automotive software best practices.

Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing software engineering teams.
- Conduct technical reviews, skill assessments, and competency development initiatives.
- Support hiring, onboarding,



team capacity planning, and succession planning activities.
- Foster a cooperative, innovation-driven, and ownership-focused work culture.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, customers, product teams, and management.
- Act as the primary communication interface for project progress, risks, and technical decisions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery.

Reporting & Governance

- Prepare ad-hoc reports, management summaries, and executive presentations.
- Support management reviews and strategic decision-making through meaningful analytics and insights.
