Role Description The Team Lead in Avionics Simulation is a full-time, on-site role based in ADA Bengaluru. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of avionics simulation systems, ensuring alignment with defense and aerospace standards. Day-to-day tasks include guiding a multidisciplinary engineering team, reviewing electrical and system architectures, overseeing integration and testing, and troubleshooting complex issues in power and control systems.

The Team

Lead collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements, plan project timelines, and manage technical documentation and reports. The role also involves mentoring team members, enforcing quality and safety practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of simulation tools and processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess M.Tech in CSE, with a First Class degree from a UGC-approved reputable university. CSE is mandatory either in B.Tech or P.G.





- 5 years of experience in real-time software development, with a robust skill set that includes GUI programming using VC , simulation and testing, software engineering, version control, and knowledge of 1553B and Ethernet standards. Prior experience in the avionics domain is highly desirable.
- Candidates should possess experience in high-reliability, mission-critical applications.
- Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues in complex simulation environments.
- Relevant skills in avionics systems, embedded computing, control systems, and hardware–software integration are highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Experience in defense/aerospace standards, safety-critical development practices, and simulation tools or test benches is an advantage.

PREFERRED SKILLS

- Proficiency in complete SDLC process.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VC and Python.
- Expertise in embedded systems development
- Knowledge in MIL-STD-1553B. Ethernet, RS-232/422 etc.
- Experience with avionics systems.
- Familiar with DO-178C, IEEE -12207 etc.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems and interfaces.
- Team management and leadership experience.

SCOPE OF WORK

- Lead and coordinate the team's efforts to ensure successful project execution.
- Schedule and track tasks, ensuring timely completion and meeting project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with project coordinators, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Coordinate with V&V; and IV&V; teams to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Gather and document requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including project plans, reports, and technical documents.
- Provide continuous technical support to the team, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit bills, conduct meetings, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
- Provide technical support for rig operations, ensuring smooth execution of projects.
- Track and approve leave requests, ensuring adequate team coverage and minimizing disruptions.
- Design and develop software solutions to meet new requirements, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to . coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
- Coordinate the team to release software updates in rig and PMS.
