We are building various tech tools to make finance consulting more accessible and have a dedicated team of individuals that are trained on tasks related to finance consulting and compliance management.

– APC/GL - TL

Department: APC (Accounts, Payroll & Compliance)

Location: Bengaluru

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end General Ledger (GL) accounting for multiple client engagements.
- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, half-yearly, and year-end financial closures.
- Review and approve journal entries, provisions, accruals, and ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of Bank, AP, AR, Payroll, and Statutory accounts.
- Review and approve Monthly GL Closure Checklists and Audit Closure Checklists.
- Oversee payroll accounting and ensure seamless integration with financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead internal, statutory, and tax audits by coordinating with auditors and providing required documentation.
- Review financial statements, balance sheet schedules, and management reports before submission.
- Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, Compliance,



and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and review the performance of the GL team while ensuring SLA-driven service delivery.
- Resolve complex accounting issues, audit observations, and client escalations.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Ensure complete and audit-ready documentation for all financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Manage multiple client accounts while maintaining quality, accuracy, and turnaround timelines.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of General Ledger Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Experience in financial closures, reconciliations, and audit management.
- Sound understanding of payroll accounting and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

Experience

- 5-7 years of experience in Accounting, Compliance, Audit, Financial Reporting, and Team Management, preferably in a multi-client or shared services workplace.
