Job Requirements

- Supervise the complete battery pack manufacturing cycle, including cell grading, spot/laser welding, wire bonding, thermal potting, and final enclosure sealing.
- Monitor automated and semi-automated machine performance, actively tracking Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to maximize machine availability and utilization.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks using process-improvement frameworks (such as the Theory of Constraints) to ensure continuous material flow and meet daily shift targets.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure seamless availability of cells, BMS boards, busbars, and mechanical components at the point of use.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of machine operators and assembly technicians across designated shifts.
- Conduct daily shift handovers and align the team on production targets, safety alerts, and process changes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing 5S, Kaizen,



and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor.

Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.

4+ years of supervisory experience in modern manufacturing, with at least 1–2 years specifically in lithium-ion battery pack assembly or EV component manufacturing.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, solid cross-functional communication skills, and proficiency with ERP/MES systems for production tracking.

Hands-on understanding of cell characteristics (NMC, LFP cylindrical/prismatic) and battery pack architecture. Familiarity with automated assembly equipment, including precision laser welding systems, dispensing machines, and specialized EOL testing rigs. Strong grasp of shop-floor metrics, cycle times, and yield optimization.
