Job Objective To provide effective Mathematics instruction, develop students’ numerical, logical and problem-solving skills, and build a strong conceptual understanding of mathematical principles.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach mathematical concepts, formulas, calculations and problem-solving techniques clearly and systematically.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers and study materials.
- Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments, examinations and revision sessions.
- Evaluate students’ work and provide constructive feedback to improve their performance.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and conduct remedial classes.
- Provide additional practice and guidance to students who need improvement in Mathematics.
- Encourage students to develop logical reasoning, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Use appropriate teaching aids, activities, models, charts and digital tools to make Mathematics interesting and easy to understand.
- Organise Mathematics-related activities such as quizzes, puzzles, competitions and problem-solving exercises.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance,



academic performance and student progress.
- Communicate students’ academic progress and concerns to parents when required.
- Participate actively in school functions, competitions, academic activities and co-curricular programmes.
- Prepare students effectively for school examinations and other academic assessments.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and the school administration.
- Attend staff meetings, training programmes and other duties assigned by the Principal/Management.
- Maintain skilled conduct and follow all school rules, policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics / Mathematics-related subject.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and the prescribed curriculum.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Basic computer and digital teaching skills.
- Previous teaching experience will be an advantage.
