Key Responsibilities

- Support the SVP, Global Portfolio and Governance in providing visibility into enterprise asset landscapes, dependency mapping, and risk exposure for executive and Board-level reporting.
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that provide transparency into CMDB health,

asset coverage, and compliance across global operations.

Global CMDB Management

- Establish and govern the enterprise CMDB as the single source of truth for applications,

infrastructure, and technology assets
- Define CMDB standards, data models, and governance processes to ensure accuracy,

completeness, and consistency
- Ensure all configuration items (CIs) are properly identified, classified, and maintained across systems and regions
- Drive adoption and integration of CMDB practices across technology and operational teams

Asset Lifecycle Management

- Define and implement end-to-end asset lifecycle management processes, from acquisition through retirement
- Ensure accurate tracking of asset ownership, usage, status, and lifecycle stage across the enterprise
- Partner with procurement, finance, and technology teams to align asset data with financial and operational records
- Ensure asset lifecycle processes support cost optimization,



compliance, and operational efficiency

Dependencies & Integrations

- Map and maintain relationships between applications, infrastructure, and services to provide clear visibility into dependencies
- Enable impact analysis for incidents, changes, and transformation initiatives through accurate dependency mapping
- Integrate CMDB with key enterprise systems including ITSM, security, and monitoring platforms
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning through dependency transparency

Data Governance & Quality

- Establish data governance frameworks to ensure CMDB and asset data integrity, accuracy, and accountability
- Define data ownership, stewardship, and quality standards across regions and functions
- Implement controls, audits, and validation processes to maintain high-quality data
- Drive continuous improvement in data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness

Risk & Compliance Management

- Provide visibility into operational, technology, and cyber risks through asset and dependency data
- Ensure CMDB and asset data supports audit requirements and regulatory compliance
- Identify gaps in asset visibility or governance that may expose the organization to risk
- Partner with cybersecurity and risk teams to strengthen risk detection and mitigation capabilities

Operational Integrity & Resilience

- Enable improved incident response, root cause analysis, and change management through accurate configuration data
- Support operational resilience by ensuring critical dependencies and vulnerabilities are visible and managed
- Strengthen enterprise readiness for audits, risk reviews, and compliance assessments

Team Leadership & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop the CMDB and asset management team
- Ensure appropriate staffing, capability development, and succession planning




- Foster a culture of data ownership, accountability, and operational excellence

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to enhance CMDB tools, processes, and integration capabilities
- Drive standardization of configuration and asset management practices globally
- Balance global governance standards with regional operational requirements

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

· Ongoing commitment to career development in IT service management (ITSM), data governance,

or asset management

Relevant Skills and Experience:

· 8+ years of experience in configuration management, CMDB management, IT asset management, or IT service management

· Strong experience implementing and governing CMDB frameworks in large, complex organizations

· Experience with asset lifecycle management, including hardware, software, and cloud assets

· Knowledge of ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or similar) and CMDB data models

· Experience in dependency mapping, service modeling, and integration across enterprise systems

· Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data stewardship principles

· Experience supporting audit, compliance, and risk management processes

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex system relationships and risks

· Experience working in global, matrixed organizations

· Familiarity with cybersecurity and operational resilience frameworks is advantageous
