Chennai Location.

Experience Range : 15 years to 20 years.

. PostgreSQL Administration (Expert): 10+ years hands-on PostgreSQL 12/14/16 administration server configuration (postgresql.conf, pg_hba.conf), object lifecycle management, extension ecosystem (pg_partman, pg_cron, PostGIS, pgvector), and storage internals (TOAST, fsync, checkpoint tuning).

2. PostgreSQL High Availability & Replication: Deep expertise in streaming replication, logical replication (pgoutput/wal2json), synchronous_commit tuning, Patroni + etcd/Consul for automated failover, pgBouncer/PgCat connection pooling, and Citus for horizontal sharding.

3. PostgreSQL Performance Engineering: Expert-level query plan analysis using EXPLAIN (ANALYZE, BUFFERS, FORMAT JSON), index design strategies (B-tree, GIN, GiST, BRIN, partial, covering, expression), pg_stat_statements, auto_explain,



lock/deadlock diagnostics, and work_mem / parallel query tuning.

4. PostgreSQL Backup & PITR: Production ownership of pgBackRest and/or Barman for full, incremental, differential backups with WAL archiving. Designing and testing PITR recovery scenarios with documented RTO/RPO SLAs. Experience with pg_basebackup and streaming base backup automation.

5. Google Cloud Spanner Administration: Hands-on experience provisioning, configuring, and managing Cloud Spanner instances (regional, multi-regional). Proficiency with Spanner SQL dialect, DDL management, schema design with interleaving and parent-child table relationships for locality optimization.

6. Cloud Spanner Performance & Scaling: Deep understanding of Spanner's TrueTime architecture, external consistency, and 2PC distributed transactions. Expertise in hotspot avoidance (UUIDs, bit-reversal, shard keys), query profiling
