Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Executive located in Vadodara, Gujarat. The Tax Executive will be responsible for managing an array of tax-related activities including preparing financial records to ensure legal compliance, accurately calculating tax obligations, filing tax returns, addressing tax inquiries, and staying updated on tax regulations.
The role also involves coordinating with external auditors and internal teams to ensure proper communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in tax-related tasks, including preparation of tax returns, tax planning, and compliance with applicable tax laws
- Robust skills in financial analysis, bookkeeping, and maintaining accurate tax records
- Knowledge of accounting principles and tax legislation, with expertise in GST, income tax, and TDS
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting findings and resolving inquiries
- Advanced familiarity with accounting and tax software/tools
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (relevant certifications such as CA Inter or similar is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
