Job Title: Tableau Developer Location: Kolkata (Work from office)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Tableau Developer with 5+ years of experience who can independently gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver hands-on Tableau development. The ideal candidate should have strong stakeholder management skills along with solid technical expertise in Tableau, SQL, dashboard development, and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand, gather, and document business requirements.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into effective Tableau dashboards and BI solutions.
- Develop interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Work hands-on with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
- Create complex calculations, parameters, filters, actions, and dashboard functionalities.
- Work with multiple data sources, including data blending, joins, and transformations.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency of dashboards.
- Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for better performance.




- Collaborate with business, data, and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard, data, and performance-related issues.
- Participate in requirement discussions, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Tableau Development.
- Strong experience in business requirement gathering and stakeholder interaction.
- Excellent knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
- Robust SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience in dashboard design, data visualization, and reporting.
- Good understanding of data preparation, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
- Ability to independently manage requirements and deliver Tableau solutions end-to-end.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Tableau certification.
- Experience with Tableau Prep.
- Exposure to Python and other BI/data analytics tools.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
