Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced System Integration Engineer with 5–6 years of relevant experience in UAV/drone integration, testing, and validation. The candidate should have hands-on experience integrating drone subsystems, configuring flight controllers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing flight tests.

The ideal candidate should be a skilled drone pilot capable of flying in Manual, Stabilize, Altitude Hold, and GPS modes, with a strong understanding of UAV systems and flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform end-to-end integration of UAV/drone systems, including flight controllers, motors, ESCs, GPS modules, telemetry, batteries, sensors, and communication systems.
- Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot flight controllers such as Pixhawk, Cube, and other compatible platforms.
- Work with flight control software such as ArduPilot and PX4.
- Conduct hands-on drone flight testing, system validation, and performance evaluation.
- Operate drones in Manual, Stabilize, Altitude Hold, and GPS/Position Hold modes, depending on the platform.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, communication, and system integration issues.
- Perform sensor calibration, vibration analysis, failsafe configuration, and pre-flight/post-flight checks.
- Integrate payloads, communication modules, and other UAV subsystems based on project requirements.
- Support prototype development, system upgrades, and design optimization.
- Prepare integration reports, test documentation, troubleshooting records, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with hardware, embedded software, mechanical design, and production teams.




- Ensure compliance with applicable drone safety procedures and aviation regulations.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in UAV/drone system integration and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with flight controllers, autopilots, and UAV electronics.
- Proficiency in ArduPilot and/or PX4 configuration and parameter tuning.
- Understanding of ESCs, BLDC motors, propellers, power distribution, batteries, and BMS.
- Knowledge of GPS/GNSS, IMU, compass, barometer, telemetry, RC systems, and communication protocols.
- Experience with MAVLink, UART, CAN, I2C, SPI, and PWM interfaces.
- Ability to perform drone assembly, calibration, integration, and ground testing.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, system architecture, and technical documentation.

Drone Piloting Requirements
- Skilled drone pilot with practical experience in manual and assisted flight operations.
- Ability to operate drones in:
- Manual Mode
- Stabilize Mode
- Altitude Hold Mode
- GPS / Position Hold Mode
- Experience conducting controlled flight tests and evaluating flight performance.
- Ability to perform pre-flight inspections, post-flight checks, and basic flight-log analysis.
- Understanding of failsafe procedures, flight safety, and emergency recovery.

Educational Qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

- B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering




- Robotics and Automation Engineering
- Instrumentation and Control Engineering

Also Consider:

- Diploma in ECE, EEE, Mechatronics, Aeronautical, or a related engineering discipline, with 5–6 years of directly relevant UAV integration experience.

Candidates with specialized training or certifications in UAV systems, drone piloting, autopilot configuration, or flight testing will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

- 5–6 years of relevant professional experience in UAV/drone system integration, testing, or development.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with drone assembly, flight controller integration, configuration, and flight testing.
- Practical drone piloting experience across the required flight modes.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving real-world integration and flight performance issues.

Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with multirotor, fixed-wing, or VTOL UAV platforms.
- Familiarity with Mission Planner, QGroundControl, and flight-log analysis.
- Knowledge of UAV system architecture, control systems, and flight dynamics.
- Experience integrating industrial, surveillance, mapping, or specialized payloads.
- Experience in prototype development and production-level UAV testing.
