System Engineer – Computer Hardware & Networking

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible System Engineer – Computer Hardware & Networking to join our technical support team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site support of computer hardware, networking infrastructure, and security systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, servers, and storage systems.
- Diagnose and repair hardware and peripheral-related issues.
- Install and maintain LAN/WAN networks, structured cabling, switches, routers, and related networking equipment.
- Handle Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, network configuration, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Provide IT infrastructure support for new branch/office setups, including installation and deployment of IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, biometric systems, and access control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of IT infrastructure.
- Respond to technical issues at client/branch locations and provide timely solutions.
- Travel to remote/site locations when required for installation, maintenance, or emergency technical support.
- Maintain proper documentation of equipment, installations, repairs, and service activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.




- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP protocols.
- Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and structured cabling.
- Basic knowledge of server hardware and storage systems.
- Experience with CCTV, biometric, and access control systems will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle site-based technical requirements.
- Willingness to travel to client/branch locations when required.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / Degree in:

- Computer Hardware & Networking
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Electronics & Communication
- Electronics
- Or a related technical field.

Experience 0–3 years of relevant experience in computer hardware, networking, IT support, or system administration.

Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and practical skills may also be considered.

Other Requirements

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits will be an advantage.
- Ability to respond to technical issues and complete assignments within the required time.
- Candidates should be willing to work at the assigned location and travel when required.

Work Type Hybrid / On-site Support The role may involve remote support as well as regular site visits depending on technical requirements.

Locations: Malappuram / Vadakara, Kozhikode

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
