Job Requirements

Responsibilities

● Manage supplier coordination for the seamless integration of suspension systems and tyres into product platforms.

● Execute detailed engineering drawings according to industry standards and manage the technical release process.

● Author comprehensive technical requirements and specifications for tyres and suspension systems.

● Lead concept generation and option evaluation based on vendor inputs and architectural constraints.

● Develop and execute innovative test plans and Design Verification Plans (DVP) to reflect real-world use cases.

● Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners.

● Conduct root cause analysis using Pareto charts, Ishikawa, and 5-Why methods to resolve field and assembly issues.

● Implement Interaction FMEAs and adhere to the Design Maturity Model to ensure robust product development.

Work Experience

Experience and Qualifications:

● B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent with specialization in Mechanical, Machine Design, or Vehicle Dynamics.





● 4-7 years of relevant experience in suspension design and vehicle dynamics.

Must Have Competencies:

● Expertise in suspension system architecture and tyre technology specifically for two-wheeler applications.

● Proficiency in suspension sizing, selection, and integration within tight vehicle packaging constraints.

● Application of Design for Excellence (DFx) principles for suspension components and assembly.

● Knowledge of relevant quality standards and homologation requirements for vehicle suspension and tyres.

Positive to Have Competencies:

● Practical experience in Vehicle Dynamics testing and validation procedures.

● Competency in performing Interaction Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

● Skilled in using root cause analysis tools like Pareto charts and Ishikawa diagrams for design troubleshooting.

● Ability to define End of Line (EOL) requirements for vendor manufacturing processes.
