Responsible for developing and executing supply plans that balance customer demand, inventory targets, production capacity, and procurement requirements. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability, optimize inventory, improve service levels, and drive supply chain efficiency while supporting business growth objectives.

Role & responsibilities

Supply Planning

- Convert demand forecasts into supply plans.
- Balance customer demand with production and procurement capabilities.
- Develop short-term, medium-term, and long-term supply plans.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust plans accordingly.

Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Manage safety stock and reorder parameters.
- Improve inventory turns and working capital efficiency.

Production and Capacity Planning
- Develop production schedules with manufacturing teams.
- Identify capacity constraints and mitigation plans.
- Support make-versus-buy decisions.





Procurement and Supplier Coordination
- Ensure material availability.
- Monitor supplier performance and deliveries.
- Manage supply risks and expedite critical materials.

S&OP; Process
- Participate in S&OP; meetings.
- Provide supply outlook and constraints.
- Align supply plans with business objectives.

Preferred candidate profile Any Engineering with 12-15 years of relevant experience.

Good experience in MRP, RCCP/capacity planning, finite scheduling, MTS/MTO, production sequencing and constraint management.

Solid SAP ECC/S4HANA PP/MM, MRP, planning parameters, master data, BOM/routing, inventory and production-order management; Exposure to Kinaxis/APS preferred.

Cable Manufacturing and Process Knowledge: Understanding of conductor drawing, bunching/stranding, insulation, cabling, armouring, sheathing, testing and process lead times, including bottleneck management.
