About Lyor

Lyor provides fully furnished, professionally managed rental homes and furniture rentals. We manufacture much of our furniture in-house and manage the installation, maintenance and movement of assets across multiple apartments. As we scale, we're hiring a hands-on Manager - Supply Chain & Asset Control to own this end to end.

The role

You'll run the supply chain for Lyor Homes and furniture rentals: purchasing, stock control, asset movements and apartment asset registers. Our Odoo setup is still evolving, so you'll identify gaps and help define the right workflow - not only operate an established ERP.

Day in the life

This is a hands-on role. On a typical office day, you will:

- Start with the supply plan: review upcoming apartment installations, furniture rental deliveries and maintenance replacements. Check what is available, what is reserved, what the factory will deliver and what must be purchased.
- Set priorities for the team: assign purchase follow-ups, receiving, dispatches and stock checks. Resolve shortages before they delay an installation.
- Coordinate across teams: speak with design on specifications and substitutions, the factory on deliveries, and the projects team on site readiness and installation dates.
- Control purchases and movements: review purchase orders and delivery commitments. Check that items received, transferred or dispatched are recorded against the correct location in Odoo.
- Investigate discrepancies: compare apartment asset sheets with dispatch and installation records. Follow up on missing, damaged or wrongly allocated items until records and physical position match.
- Close the day with clear information:



confirm the next day's deliveries and dispatches, update unresolved issues with owners and dates, and report any risk to an apartment handover.

You'll also spend time at the factory, store and apartments verifying records against physical assets - managing today's work while improving the process, so purchases, stock levels and apartment assets no longer depend on people's memory. The daily output is simple: the team knows what is needed next, where each asset is, what is delayed, and who is resolving every discrepancy.

What we're looking for

- Hands-on experience across procurement, inventory control and movement of physical assets across multiple locations
- You've built or improved a process in a growing business - experience only within a mature, fully configured ERP won't be sufficient
- Strong Excel skills and working ERP experience; Odoo preferred
- You can reconcile system records with physical items, trace discrepancies and follow them through to closure
- Strong planning, vendor follow-up and communication skills, with willingness to visit sites and verify work personally
- Furniture rental, serviced apartments, hospitality, retail fit-outs, appliances or equipment rental backgrounds are all relevant
- Supply chain degree welcome, not mandatory

What success looks like

Every new apartment has an accurate, verified asset register at handover. Stock availability and reservations are visible to the team. Purchases and dispatches are planned ahead - and every asset movement can be traced without relying on one person's memory.
