Role Overview: The Supply Chain Management Executive will be responsible for managing procurement, vendor relationships, inventory planning, and logistics to ensure smooth, cost-effective material flow across the plant. This role works closely with production, quality, and finance teams to align supply with demand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and excess stock




- Coordinate with production planning to align material availability with demand
- Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and resolve supply delays proactively
- Manage logistics, warehousing, and dispatch coordination for inbound/outbound material
- Analyze supply chain costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction Ensure vendor compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate SCM records, reports, and MIS using ERP systems
- Support audits and ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements

Requirements:

- BE in Mechanical Engineering, MBA in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
- 4-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering setup
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar)
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills
- Good understanding of inventory management and demand planning principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel; strong reporting and data analysis ability
- Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills
