- Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and onboarding for automotive components.
- Basic comparison of quoted of quotes cost breakdown sheets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D;, Quality, and Production) to ensure timely sourcing deliverables.
- Maintain and update costing databases, RFQ (Request for Quote) trackers, and supplier matrices.
Additional Technical Competencies Basic Process Understanding: Solid foundational knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, sheet metal, casting, or assembly).
Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis
Design for Manufacturability (DFM) awareness
APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA knowledge (for automotive/manufacturing)
Painting & surface treatment basic understanding
