1. Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing workplace to manage supplier quality, conduct supplier assessments, develop supplier manufacturing capabilities, and drive continuous quality improvement & ensuring delivery timelines are met.

The role requires a hands-on approach, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently at supplier locations. Role will perform supplier assessments, audits, development activities, problem solving, and quality improvement.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Assess supplier capability for machining, fabrication, forging, casting, heat treatment, welding, surface treatment, and other manufacturing processes as applicable.
- Develop suppliers to achieve required quality, process capability,



and delivery performance.
- Support suppliers in establishing robust manufacturing and inspection processes.
- Monitor supplier improvement plans and verify effectiveness.
- Lead 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and other structured problem-solving activities.
- The candidate should have good hands-on knowledge of measurement and inspection equipment used in manufacturing.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements.
- Good knowledge of PPAP documentation & APQP.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements is preferred.
- Good understanding of materials, heat treatment, welding, dimensional control, and metallurgical testing.
- The candidate must possess strong communication skills and be able to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
