About the Role:

The Supervisor manages the daily functioning of the bakery unit inside the prison, taking charge of production planning, stock management, and hygiene standards to keep the unit running smoothly and on schedule. Working closely with the Master Trainer and Assistant Trainer, the Supervisor also handles coordination and administrative tasks that keep the unit operating efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the bakery unit, ensuring production and training activities run on schedule
- Coordinate between the Master Trainer, Assistant Trainer, and prison/project administration
- Manage procurement, stock, and inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and equipment
- Monitor hygiene, food-safety, and quality standards across the unit
- Maintain attendance records, production logs, and stock registers
- Track raw material usage, wastage, and costing of products made
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance needs
- Liaise with prison authorities for entry/security protocols, scheduling, and logistics




- Prepare periodic reports on production, training progress, and stock for the Project Head
- Resolve day-to-day issues in the unit (staffing, material shortage, equipment breakdown)

Requirements:

- Graduate in Hotel Management (preferred); background in food production or commerce also acceptable
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a supervisory or operations role, ideally in a bakery, kitchen, or production unit
- Good organizational, record-keeping, and coordination skills
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Positive communication skills; Kannada and English preferred
- Willingness to work within prison premises and comply with entry/security protocols, including rotational shifts
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining records and reports

Shift & Schedule: Rotational Shift, 9 hrs/day (within unit operating hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
