Role SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and energetic Supervisor – Cafe Operations to oversee day-to-day cafe operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service.

The role will involve supervising staff and shifts, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, monitoring inventory and billing, maintaining hygiene and service standards, handling customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily cafe operations and ensure smooth functioning of assigned shifts.
- Manage staff deployment, shift allocation, attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Coordinate between kitchen, service, stores, housekeeping, and other operational teams.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and promptly address guest queries and complaints.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, service speed, and overall guest experience.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, wastage, and timely replenishment of operational supplies.
- Ensure proper use of POS/billing systems and adherence to cash and payment procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, checklists, and operational guidelines.




- Conduct shift briefings and support the training and development of team members.
- Monitor daily operational performance and submit required reports to management.
- Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action or escalate them to management.

Candidate Profile
- Relevant experience in cafe, restaurant, hotel, QSR, or F&B; operations.
- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred.
- Experience with established cafe brands such as Barista, Café Coffee Day (CCD), Starbucks, Third Wave Coffee, or similar brands will be an added advantage.
- Strong supervisory, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented approach with the ability to handle guests professionally.
- Basic knowledge of POS, inventory management, and F&B; service operations.
- Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

QualificationA Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant operational experience. Key Performance AreasPerformance will be assessed based on:

- Staff discipline, productivity, and effective shift management.
- Compliance with SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
