Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month Incentives

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and student-focused Student Counsellor to join our team in Trivandrum. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, providing suitable course guidance, and supporting the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and educational pathways.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, and career objectives and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Explain course details, eligibility, fees, duration, curriculum, and career opportunities.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and update lead records.
- Coordinate with the academic and admissions teams for a smooth admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, counselling sessions, and admissions.
- Participate in seminars, student outreach programmes, educational events, and promotional activities.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.




- Provide post-admission support and maintain positive relationships with students.
- Prepare regular reports on enquiries, follow-ups, and admission conversions.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience is mandatory.
- Prior work experience in any institution is required.
- Candidates with experience in educational institutions, colleges, training institutes, coaching centres, or EdTech organisations will be preferred.
- Experience in student counselling, admissions, tele-counselling, academic counselling, or educational sales will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with students and parents.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Fluency in English and Malayalam is preferred.
- Target-oriented and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
