The Structural Steel Design Engineer will support the analysis, design, and coordination of structural steel systems for industrial, commercial, and data center projects. The role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in structural engineering, steel design, BIM coordination, and project delivery while working under the guidance of experienced engineers.
The candidate will assist in preparing calculations, design deliverables, engineering reports, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities Structural Design Support
- Assist in the analysis and design of structural steel components including:
- Beams
- Columns
- Bracing systems
- Mezzanines
- Equipment support structures
- Platforms and walkways
- Secondary steel members
- Prepare structural calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
Technical Skills Design Knowledge Basic Understanding Of
- AISC 360
- ASCE 7
- Eurocode 3
- IS 800
- Local building codes and standards
Software Skills Structural Analysis
- STAAD.Pro (preferred)
- ETABS
- SAP2000
