We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer / Structural Analyst with expertise in STAAD Pro and strong structural analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to structural design and analysis requirements, particularly for facade, railing and related architectural elements, while ensuring that designs meet technical, safety and project requirements.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform detailed structural analysis, modelling and design using STAAD Pro for facades, railings and other related architectural structural elements.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, safety and compliance with applicable design requirements.
- Evaluate the structural feasibility and performance of facade, railing and associated structural systems under relevant loading conditions and project requirements.
- Review architectural and structural drawings, technical specifications and project requirements to identify structural requirements, discrepancies and potential design challenges.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineering consultants, project teams and other stakeholders to develop practical structural solutions and resolve design and execution-related issues.
- Provide technical guidance and structural support throughout the design and project execution stages, ensuring designs meet technical, aesthetic and project requirements within defined timelines.
- Ensure all structural designs and calculations adhere to relevant building codes, industry standards and applicable regulations, while maintaining required quality and documentation standards.
SKILLSET & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 57 years of experience in structural analysis and design.
- Solid proficiency in STAAD Pro mandatory.
- Prior experience in the facade and railing industry — highly preferred.
- Experience in structural design and consultancy for builders, developers or architectural projects.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, structural calculations and design principles.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, structural standards and industry regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong planning, organisation and deadline management capabilities.
- Experience working with civil engineering consultants and project stakeholders will be an advantage.
