Key Responsibilities

Structural Design:

- Develop detailed designs for steel plant structures, including equipment supports, platforms, foundations, buildings, roof, and cladding systems.
- Design roof and cladding sheeting systems, ensuring proper integration with structural elements for durability and weatherproofing.
- Prepare layouts, schematics, and 3D models, including bird’s-eye view drawings, using software like AutoCAD, Tekla, or SolidWorks.

Analysis and Calculations:

- Conduct structural analysis to ensure designs meet load, vibration, and stability requirements.
- Perform calculations to evaluate stresses, strains, and deflections using tools like STAAD Pro or SAP2000.

Material Selection:

- Recommend appropriate materials and structural components for durability and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with material specifications and safety standards.

Technical Documentation:

- Create and maintain detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
- Review and approve design changes during construction phases.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, erection, and commissioning stages.

Standards and Compliance:





- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry codes, such as IS, AISC, or Eurocodes.
- Stay updated on advancements in structural design methodologies and tools.

Problem-Solving:

- Identify and resolve structural design issues in ongoing projects.
- Address and mitigate risks related to structural integrity and safety.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.

Experience:

- 3–5 years of experience in structural design, preferably in an industrial or steel plant environment.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Tekla, SAP2000, or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel design principles and practices.
- Ability to design roof and cladding systems, including detailed 3D bird’s-eye view models.

Knowledge:

- Familiarity with industry standards (IS codes, AISC, etc.) and fabrication/erection processes.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
- Experience with seismic, agile, or thermal analysis.
- Exposure to large-scale industrial projects or steel plants.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate
