Role Description The Structural Design Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The role involves performing structural analysis and design for bulk storage and handling facilities, including silos, warehouses, and associated structures. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed engineering drawings and models using CAD tools, checking design compliance with relevant codes and standards, and optimizing designs for safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

The engineer will coordinate with civil and mechanical teams, review construction documents, support site teams with technical clarifications, and assist in resolving structural issues during project execution. The role also includes preparing technical reports, design calculations,



and documentation for internal review and client presentations.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis, with the ability to design and evaluate industrial and storage structures.
- Academic and practical background in Civil Engineering, preferably with experience in industrial, agricultural, or storage infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including experience with AutoCAD for creating detailed drawings and layouts.
- Ability to interpret engineering standards, codes, and specifications relevant to structural design and construction.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with structural design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar) is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to bulk material storage, food grains, or industrial facility design is beneficial.
