1. Identify, evaluate and select reliable, compliant suppliers for Lead, RML, Scrap Batteries & required Raw Material for Lead smelting unit with negotiated favorable terms, prices & contracts
2. Manage the purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring the orders are placed in a timely & cost-effective manner
3. Coordination with cross departments (planning, production & Accounts) to meet deadlines
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase orders, contracts, vendor communication & related to job profile.
5. Review and compare supplier quotations to ensure the best prices are obtained while maintaining the required quality & delivery standards.
6. Maintain MIS on daily basis
7. Stay updated on market trends, current products and alternative suppliers to improve procurement efficiency.
