Summary of the Role: To ensure smooth process of Stores and Warehouse activities as well as planning activities

[ Engine and axles ] .

Details of the Job :

- Conduct SUNRISE meeting before start of the shift 1) to discuss previous days & current days updates, 2) review discrepancies with corrective actions and communication with MBIL. 3) Plan corrective actions, and 4) deliver information received from Excise, Import, ISD and MBIL , reply correspondence by mail/phone.
- Review of stock of CKD boxes in warehouse areas as well as at engine/axles logistics area.
- Review JIS call-up received from MBIL .
- Communication of status to of pending documents, RCIA,GDN etc to ED ( Opn.) through daily report.
- Monitoring of material available at JNPT and inform priorities to Import
- Monitoring of Monthly Plan, Rolling Plan, Shipment plan received from MBIL
- Consumables monitoring with reference to Rolling Plan for next six months.
- Planning of manpower with reference to production plan
- Monitoring of absenteeism of forklift drivers/ casuals.
- Ensure despatch activities and availability of aggregates well in advance.
- Ensure unloading of containers in warehouse as per containers quantity in shifts.
- Ensure correctness of list of containers.
- Monitoring of status of damage box received from container, communication regarding same to import dept, insurance surveyor, logistics, quality. Feed back of total cycle compliance to Import dept.
- Ensure negative and issue of material in SAP on daily/weekly basis.
- Review claim part receipt as per document and its issue.
- Preparation of stock taking activities.
- Close co-ordination with Production, logistics ,



quality and MBIL liaison office, MBIL KGC despatch section, MBIL stores and logistics Head MBIL
- Monitoring Blockage store activities. Co ordination with ISD, Excise, Imports and courier services department for preparation of blockage stores documents, invoices, packing, fumigation and despatch of boxes to DAG/USA.
- Review of incoming material, its documentation and information to concern dept for receipt of same.
- Ensure material boxes on kept on proper place in warehouse as per layout and in sequence.
- Ensure issue of material as per JIS call up and logistics requirement.
- Ensure preparation of all warehouse and claim part RCIA. RCIA and its annexure hard copies delivery to audit department.
- Ensure preparation of manual RCIA as per bills, checking and signing on same and delivery of printed RCIA to audit, excise dept.
- Ensure preparation of sales invoices as per schedule agreement received from Imports dept., record keeping of sales invoices, and delivery of hard copies to excise and account dept.
- Ensure cancellation of wrong invoices and its information to excise dept.
- Ensure co ordination with ISD regarding various problems noticed during invoice preparation and other system related issues.




- Attend Insurance surveyor for transit damages and ensure proper documentation of same.
- Conduct round table meeting weekly with stores officer for review.
- Promote improvements, kaizen to reduce rejection during unpacking and material movement.
- Maintain housekeeping of the Warehouse and plant.
- Maintain discipline related to work throughout the shift.
- Control leaves & absenteeism percentage of the operating stores officers/forklift drivers.
- Follow & ensure safety related norms.
- Report seniors in case of any abnormality in daily execution.
- Reconciliation of warehouse boxes at frequent intervals.
- Compliance on various in house & customer conducted audits findings, audits related to quality management systems.
- Optimum utilisation of recourses & control on waste.
- Team building through various employee engagement programmes.
- Maintain good health of machinery, toolings & equipments.
- Checking, confirming cost and signing scrap material invoices as per weigh slip.
- Monitor problems noticed in battery forklift and diesel forklift, communicate issues to Maintenance dept. And ensure actions.

Technical Requirements :

- Key Skills for the Role: Adequate knowledge of CKD material/Engine & Axle assembly/ model wise, Knowledge of material management and planning /PPC. Knowledge of Microsoft excels, SAP and valuable communication /presentation skill.
- Desired Skills for the Role: Knowledge of Microsoft access.

Experience Required :

- Mandatory for the Role : Involvement in planning activities/PPC/Logistics /material management for minimum ten-twelve years
