1. Job Purpose The Store Executive is responsible for the efficient receipt, inspection coordination, storage, identification, preservation, inventory control, and issue of raw materials, components, consumables, tools, and finished goods in accordance with company procedures.

The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper material traceability, preventing stock discrepancies, and supporting uninterrupted production through timely material availability.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Material Receipt & Inward

- Receive raw materials, components, bought-out parts, consumables, tools, and other materials from suppliers.
- Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans, invoices, and other relevant documents.
- Check quantity, part number, material description, and packaging condition during receipt.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department for incoming inspection wherever applicable.
- Ensure materials are properly identified and moved to designated locations after inspection clearance.
- Prepare and maintain Material Receipt / Goods Receipt records.
- Immediately report shortages, excess quantities, damages, or discrepancies to the concerned department.

B. Material Identification & Storage

- Ensure proper identification of all materials using part numbers, descriptions, batch numbers, lot numbers, and other applicable identification methods.
- Store materials in designated locations according to the approved storage system.
- Maintain proper bin location / rack identification.
- Ensure materials are stored safely to prevent damage, deterioration, contamination, or mix-up.
- Maintain proper segregation of:
- Accepted materials
- Inspection pending materials
- Rejected materials
- Hold materials
- Returnable materials
- Finished goods
- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices within the stores area.

C. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate stock records for all materials.
- Monitor daily stock levels and identify shortages / excess inventory.
- Ensure minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained wherever applicable.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Investigate and report differences between physical stock and system stock.
- Maintain proper inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
- Support inventory reduction and optimization initiatives.

D. Material Issue to Production

- Issue raw materials and components to Production against authorized material requests / production requirements.
- Ensure correct part number, quantity, batch / lot number, and material specification before issuing materials.
- Maintain proper material issue records.
- Follow FIFO / FEFO principles wherever applicable.
- Ensure traceability of materials issued to production.
- Coordinate with Production Planning and Production teams to ensure timely material availability.

E. Finished Goods Management

- Receive finished components from Production after required quality clearance.




- Verify quantity and identification of finished goods.
- Maintain proper finished goods stock records.
- Store finished goods in designated locations to prevent damage and mix-up.
- Coordinate with Dispatch / Sales / Planning for timely dispatch of finished goods.
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, and identification before dispatch.

F. Material Dispatch

- Prepare materials / finished goods for dispatch as per approved dispatch instructions.
- Verify part number, quantity, customer requirements, packing details, and dispatch documents.
- Coordinate with Quality, Dispatch, Purchase, Sales, and Logistics teams as required.
- Ensure correct material is dispatched to the correct customer / destination.
- Maintain dispatch records and supporting documents.

G. ERP / System Transactions

- Update all material transactions accurately in the ERP / inventory management system.
- Perform transactions related to:
- Material receipt
- Material issue
- Stock transfer
- Finished goods receipt
- Dispatch
- Material return
- Stock adjustment, with proper authorization
- Ensure system stock accurately reflects physical stock.
- Generate inventory reports as required by management.

H. Stock Verification & Audit

- Conduct periodic physical stock verification.
- Participate in monthly / quarterly / annual stock audits.
- Prepare stock reconciliation reports.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with concerned departments for corrective action.
- Maintain proper records required for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company stores procedures.

I. Rejected & Non-Conforming Material Control

- Ensure rejected / non-conforming materials are properly identified and physically segregated.
- Maintain records of rejected materials.
- Coordinate with Quality and Purchase for supplier return / rework / disposition.
- Prevent rejected or unauthorized materials from being issued to Production.
- Maintain proper traceability of rejected and returned materials.

J. 5S & Safety

- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards in the stores and warehouse.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and do not create workplace hazards.
- Follow safe material handling practices.
- Ensure proper use of material handling equipment.
- Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain clear aisles, emergency exits, and designated storage areas.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance may be evaluated based on:

- Inventory accuracy percentage.
- Physical stock vs. system stock accuracy.
- Timely material availability to Production.
- Material receiving accuracy.
- Material issue accuracy.
- Reduction in stock discrepancies.
- Reduction in excess / obsolete inventory.
- FIFO compliance.
- Timely completion of stock verification.
- Proper material traceability.
- Dispatch accuracy.
- 5S and housekeeping compliance.
- Reduction in material damage and handling losses.
- Audit compliance.

4. Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of Stores and Warehouse Management.




- Knowledge of inventory control techniques.
- Knowledge of FIFO / FEFO.
- Knowledge of material identification and traceability.
- Knowledge of Goods Receipt / Material Receipt processes.
- Knowledge of material issue and return procedures.
- Basic understanding of automotive components and manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of ERP / inventory management software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of stock reconciliation and inventory reporting.
- Basic understanding of Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, invoices, and material documentation.
- Knowledge of 5S and safe material handling practices.

5. Preferred Knowledge – Automobile Industry Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment with knowledge of the following will be preferred:

- CNC / VMC components.
- Grinding components.
- Raw materials such as steel bars, forgings, castings, etc.
- Bought-out components.
- Subcontract components.
- Cutting tools and consumables.
- Packing materials.
- Finished automotive components.
- Material traceability and batch / lot control.
- Production-related material planning and issue.

7. Educational Qualification Diploma / B.Com / BBA / B.Com (Logistics) / Any Graduate.

Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering and relevant Stores experience may also be considered.

8. Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in:

- Automobile / Auto Component Manufacturing

Candidates with experience in CNC / VMC / Grinding component stores will be preferred. 9. Authority & Responsibility The Store Executive shall be responsible for:

- Ensuring correct receipt and issue of materials.
- Maintaining accurate physical and system inventory.
- Ensuring proper identification and traceability of materials.
- Preventing material mix-up and unauthorized material movement.
- Reporting stock discrepancies and material shortages.
- Ensuring rejected / hold materials are properly segregated.
- Maintaining stores discipline, 5S, and safety.
- Escalating critical inventory issues to the Stores Manager / Plant Manager.

10. Job Summary The Store Executive is responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate stores operations, ensuring the right material is available at the right time, in the right quantity, and with proper identification and traceability. The position plays an important role in supporting uninterrupted production, controlling inventory, preventing material discrepancies, and ensuring effective coordination between Stores, Purchase, Quality, Production, Planning, and Dispatch departments.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
