Position: Store Keeper

Department: Stores / Warehouse

Reports To: Store Manager / Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage the receipt, storage, issue, and inventory of materials and goods. The Store Keeper will ensure proper stock control, accurate record keeping, and efficient operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and inspect incoming materials, goods, and supplies.
- Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Properly store and organize materials in designated locations.
- Issue materials to departments or employees against approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages or excess stock.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile them with inventory records.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all stored items.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper arrangement of the store area.
- Prepare inventory reports and assist with stock audits.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, Production, and other relevant departments.




- Follow company procedures for stock handling, storage, and documentation.
- Report damaged, expired, missing, or obsolete materials to the supervisor.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed where applicable.

Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge; experience with MS Excel or inventory software is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Physically fit and able to handle store/warehouse activities.
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Job Type: Full time Experience: 1–3 years

Pay: ₹17,126.34 - ₹30,073.90 per month
