Job Summary The Store In-Charge will be responsible for end-to-end operations of a dark store/micro-fulfillment center, ensuring rapid, accurate order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and team performance to meet quick-commerce delivery SLAs (typically 10-30 minutes).

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily store operations including order picking, packing, and dispatch within committed delivery timelines

- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation with system records

- Monitor and minimize stock-outs, wastage (especially for perishables/FMCG), and shrinkage

- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store staff (pickers, packers, riders/delivery partners where applicable)

- Track and improve key operational metrics: order fulfillment time, order accuracy, on-time delivery %, and customer complaints

- Ensure store layout and product placement are optimized for fast picking

- Maintain hygiene, safety, and compliance standards (FSSAI norms if handling food/grocery)





- Coordinate with area/cluster manager on stock replenishment, staffing needs, and escalations

- Handle customer complaints or delivery issues escalated from the app/support team

- Manage store P&L; basics labor cost, wastage cost, and operational expenses within budget

- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and audit compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate (any discipline); retail/supply chain background preferred

- 2-5 years of experience in retail store operations, warehouse/fulfillment, or quick commerce

- Strong people management and team leadership skills

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven, metrics-heavy environment

- Basic proficiency with inventory/POS systems and Excel/Google Sheets

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends/holidays

- Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability under time pressure
