Job Title: Shift Engineer/Officer - Store Keeper

Location: Unit 1, Ghugus, Chandrapur, Maharashtra

Reporting To: Store Head

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a Store Keeper Commercial to manage day-to-day store activities, including material receipt, inspection, storage, issue, stock monitoring, and documentation. The candidate should have good knowledge of SAP and inventory management processes, preferably with experience in the Iron & Steel or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage receipt, storage, preservation and issue of materials as per approved requirements.
- Receive incoming materials against Purchase Orders (POs), delivery challans and other relevant documents.
- Verify material quantity, specifications and documentation at the time of receipt.
- Ensure proper material identification, tagging, binning and systematic storage.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
- Perform material issue against approved Material Requisitions / Store Issue Slips.
- Ensure timely updating of GRN / Goods Receipt entries in SAP.
- Maintain and update SAP inventory records, including material receipts, issues, transfers and stock adjustments.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the concerned departments for reorder requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with SAP records.
- Identify and report shortage, excess, damaged, obsolete and non-moving materials.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and 5S practices within the store area.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Commercial, Finance, Maintenance, Production and other departments regarding material-related activities.
- Maintain proper records of inward/outward materials, returns, transfers and material movement.
- Support internal and external stock audits and provide required documents and records.




- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety guidelines and inventory control procedures.

SAP Knowledge: The candidate should have working knowledge of SAP MM / Stores transactions, preferably including:

- Purchase Order reference and material receipt
- GRN / Goods Receipt
- Material Issue / Consumption
- Stock Transfer
- Physical Inventory / Stock Verification
- Material stock inquiry and reconciliation
- Basic understanding of material codes, storage locations and inventory reports

ISO (9001,14001,45001 & 50001) SA 8000

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Stores & Inventory Management
- Working knowledge of SAP MM
- Good understanding of material receipt and issue processes
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel
- Positive communication and coordination skills
- Ability to maintain accurate stock records
- Knowledge of 5S, safety and housekeeping practices

Qualification Diploma / Any Graduate in any relevant discipline.

Experience

2–6 years of relevant experience in Stores / Commercial / Inventory Management, preferably in an Iron & Steel, Manufacturing, Engineering or Heavy Industry environment.

Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in SAP MM and manufacturing/steel plant stores are preferred.
