Store & Grooming Assistant

Curious Cat Company is looking for someone warm, responsible and genuinely fond of animals to join our store and cat grooming salon in Bengaluru.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with both people and animals. You will be involved in the everyday running of the store, customer conversations, inventory, grooming operations and the many small things that keep an independent business running well.

What you’ll do

- Welcome customers and help them understand our products, their purpose and how they may suit their cats
- Assist with day-to-day cat grooming operations
- Learn grooming hands-on from our experienced team, if you would like to develop this skill
- Manage inventory, stock movement and store organisation
- Maintain basic sales, expense and month-end account records
- Coordinate grooming appointments and customer communication
- Keep the store and grooming areas clean, calm and well organised




- Take simple photographs and videos of products, cats and everyday moments at the store
- Support sales and marketing initiatives, with additional incentives for meaningful contribution to business growth

Who we’re looking for

More than anything, you should genuinely love animals and be comfortable around cats.

You should be patient, calm, dependable and comfortable speaking with customers. You should also be organised, willing to learn and happy to take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.

Experience in retail, customer service, pet care, grooming, inventory or basic accounts is helpful, but not essential. Attitude, reliability and a genuine affinity for animals matter more to us.
