- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pregnant women during admission, labour, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

- Monitor maternal and fetal condition by regularly assessing vital signs, fetal heart rate, uterine contractions, cervical dilatation, and other relevant parameters.

- Assist obstetricians during normal and complicated deliveries, including preparation of instruments, equipment, medications, and emergency supplies.

- Prepare patients for labour and delivery procedures, ensuring proper identification, consent verification, privacy, positioning, and emotional support.

- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including labour records, monitoring charts, medication administration, delivery notes, and handover reports.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while following medication-safety protocols and monitoring for adverse reactions.

- Provide immediate newborn care in coordination with the neonatal team, including newborn assessment,



thermoregulation, identification, and support during resuscitation when required.

- Recognize and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies such as postpartum haemorrhage, eclampsia, fetal distress, and other complications, following hospital emergency protocols.

- Maintain infection prevention and control standards by adhering to aseptic techniques, hand hygiene, sterilization procedures, biomedical-waste management, and labour-room safety protocols.

- Provide patient and family education and support regarding labour, breastfeeding, postpartum care, newborn care, and discharge instructions, while maintaining effective communication with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
