MSZ Systems is seeking a Senior/Staff Data Platform & Forward Deployed Engineer to build and deploy a large-scale candidate sourcing and talent intelligence platform. You will work across engineering and recruiting teams to turn real sourcing problems into production data, search, and AI solutions.

Responsibilities

- Integrate People Data Labs (PDL) and other approved people/company data providers.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines and APIs for millions of professional profiles.
- Normalize, enrich, deduplicate, and merge candidate records.
- Build identity resolution, fuzzy matching, confidence scoring, and provenance tracking.
- Implement Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, semantic search, embeddings, and AI-assisted ranking.
- Work directly with recruiters and business users to understand sourcing problems and rapidly deliver solutions.
- Deploy and customize search, ranking, enrichment,



and workflow capabilities for different use cases.
- Integrate with ATS/CRM platforms such as CEIPAL, Bullhorn, Greenhouse, or similar.
- Handle rate limits, queues, caching, retries, monitoring, and incremental refresh.

- Strong Python, SQL, REST APIs, ETL/ELT
- PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
- Large-scale API/data integrations
- Entity resolution and deduplication
- AWS/Azure/GCP
- Docker, Redis, Kafka/SQS
- Robust customer-facing and problem-solving skills

Preferred
- PDL or similar people-data APIs
- Talent intelligence or recruiting technology
- Vector search, embeddings, LLMs, and semantic search
- Experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or customer-facing engineering role
