Job Context Major Challenges

- JEMIL Mines and Mineral Resources Limited (EMMRL), wholly owned subsidiary of Essel Mining Industries Limited (EMIL) had been declared as Successful Bidder for Bandha Coal Block in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh (~37 km from Singrauli City) in the Commercial Coal Auction

- It is a greenfield project with Peak Rated Capacity (PRC) of 5 Million tonnes per annum

- EMMRL is currently in the process of getting statutory clearances

- Some of the major challenges in operationalization of the coal block including getting statutory clearances, liaise with statutory authorities to expedite commencement and smooth running of operation, undertake land acquisition and possession, shifting of Project PDFs, implementation of Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RR) policy, execute mining lease, commence and achieve peak coal production at competitive cost, maintain coal quality, ensure protected operation, implement stateofart technology in operation, maintece and logistics infrastructure, drive digital initiatives, and marketing of coal
- In addition, compliance with statutory norms, renewal/ amendment of statutory clearances, undertake progressive mine closure, facilitate smooth operation and comply with the requirements as per terms of Allotment Agreement

- KRA2 Planning for CSR, Managing Executing CSR Operations, Devising CSR Policies Procedures Streamlining the CSR Process and ensuring adherence to the CSR national international standards and practices Formulating Screening new projects, Preparing Project Reports, assessing viability and Administering projects in timebound manner

- KRA3 Stakeholder Management Relationship Building with the Govt. , Corporates, Project Partners, External Agencies and Other NGOs for end to end project implementation integrating innovative practices and ensuring compliance to all Terms Conditions, Statutory Compliances. KRA4 Maintaining conducive industrial atmosphere Maintece of cordial relations with Sarpanch, Panchayat members, leading village leaders, Govt. officers, NGO s etc.

- KRA5 Liaison Coordinating with the Senior Management and the Team Members in order to achieve Organizational Goals in line with Core Business objectives

- KRA6 Image Building Monitoring Evaluation, MIS Reporting etc
