Role Description The Sr. Accountant role at ECHT VENTURES is a full-time, in office position based in Ahmedabad. The Sr. Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

This role prepares and reviews financial statements, supports monthly and annual closing activities, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Sr. Accountant will monitor budgeting and cash flow, assist with audits and tax filings, and provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision support.





Collaboration with internal teams and subsidiaries is expected to maintain accurate consolidated financial information and improve financial processes.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.

- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for multi-entity or holding company structures.

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.

- Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) is an advantage.

- Prior experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within a holding company, corporate group, or similar environment.
